Prepress Specialist / Media Designer

Prepress work is often the bottleneck in the order process of an online packaging printer. This is where you come in! We’re looking for someone to elevate the handling of print files to the next level, ensuring our customers achieve excellent results.Are you a skilled communicator, tech-savvy, and a true expert in print file preparation? As a Media Designer / Prepress Specialist, you’ll be the primary contact for our customers, providing them with comprehensive advice on creating print-ready files for packaging and helping them achieve outstanding results.

Print File Preparation:
Transform challenging customer files into technically and visually flawless print-ready files.Point of Contact:
Serve as the main contact for our international sales teams regarding print files. You’ll often be involved early in the process to identify and resolve potential challenges before an order is placed.

Print File Quality:
Train customers with practical tips and tricks for creating print-ready files, improving the quality of submitted files through proactive measures. Internally, you’ll be the go-to expert for all print file-related questions or challenges.Content Creation:
Collaborate with the team to develop videos and articles for various platforms, guiding customers in preparing their print files and showcasing our expertise.

Automation:
Use your knowledge to contribute to building and improving our automated prepress workflow, making processes more efficient and user-friendly.

Requirements Your Role:
• Extensive experience in creating and editing print files, specifically for packaging.
• Familiarity with metallic materials, white ink, and the technical requirements for gold effects, with the ability to execute these effectively.
• Fluency in German or French and proficiency in English.
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and a solid understanding of Photoshop, with the ability to find creative solutions to customer challenges.
• A proactive, solution-oriented approach with a willingness to go the extra mile to deliver the perfect print file.
• Strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and the capacity to maintain focus even in high-pressure situations.
